The Battles is Not Yours

So many times in life there is so much going on around us. It seems sometimes that we are in a never ending battle. As humans, we have the tendency to try to take on and fight all the battles of life ourselves, and because of that some times the battles can become so overwhelming that it is hard to look forward to tomorrow. You will begin to question if you can fight another day or will the battles of life defeat you. But child of God you can look forward to tomorrow and do it with a smile on your face because there is someone that is going to step in on your behalf and fight. You do not have to fight the battle before you and as a matter of fact the battle is not yours. Your current battle, the fight against the attack of the enemy, the fight in the trials of life, the fight for your peace and happiness, is a battle that belongs to God. Regardless of everything that you're facing, all the troubles that seem like they are going to take you out, you have absolutely nothing to worry about because God promises that He will fight this battle for you. Actually, God lets us know that the battle is not ours but His, and we don't have to lift a finger in the battle. So as you look at your current circumstances and you're staring at all of the enemies, trials and tribulations before you, stand up, stand strong, hold on to your faith and watch as God fights the battle for you. Not only will God fight for you but He is also going to deliver you from all of your troubles right before your eyes. Don't be discouraged and don't be afraid to face tomorrow, instead praise God in the midst of the battle, praise God even when it seems that your troubles and enemies outnumber you, praise God when it seems like everything is crashing around you, praise God when it looks like the battle is lost, because God will defeat all your enemies and deliver you from all your trouble. Face tomorrow with confidence, walking in victory, and letting God fight for you because the battle is not yours but it's the Lord's.

He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today to say thank you. Thank you for another opportunity to see yet another day. Heavenly Father we want to thank you, thank you for stepping in on our behalf and fighting and winning our battles of life. Thank you for delivering us from all of the troubles we may face day to day. Thank you for protecting us Heavenly Father from dangers seen and unseen. Thank you God for just simply being you, for you are King of kings and Lord of lords. God without you, the battles of life may consume us and we just want to thank you for loving us so much that you continue to fight for us giving us hope to face tomorrow. Lord we thank you for the battles you have won, the battles you are currently fighting and we thank you in advance for the battles you will win on our behalf. God we love you and we can't thank you enough.
