Stilled Storm

We all go through storms of life. Whether it is the death of a loved one, financial storms, heartbreak, loss of a job, homelessness, friends walking out on you, etc. Sometimes these storms of life can become so overwhelming. The winds can become so strong it can feel like you're going to be blown away. The downpour of the rain can become so hard that you feel like you can't see your way out of the storm. Let's be honest, the storm called life can sometime seem like it is going to take you out. But find hope in the fact that whatever storm you may be going through, you are safe!

During danger he will keep me safe in his shelter (Psalm 27:5)

God promised us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. Even when you are in the midst of a storm, God is right there with you, protecting you and covering you. Regardless of what you are going through in life, you have nothing to fear. God sees what you are going through and He is making a way of escape for you. And when you seek God wholeheartedly, He will deliver you from your storm, deliver you from your trouble. God will stop the winds from raging around you. He will cause the raindrops to cease. God will quiet the storm that's all around you. So don't give up! You may not be able to see your way through the storm but God is right there with you. Grab hold of His hand and He will guide you through. And just when it seems like the storm is going to wash you away, God will still the storm around you just in the nick of time.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today to say thank you. Thank you God for allowing us to see another day. God we thank you for walking with us, for being right in the midst with us in the storm of life. God we thank you for not allowing the winds and waves of the storm to take us out. God we thank you for protecting us and covering us today and everyday. As we continue to walk this journey of life, God we ask that you continue to guides us along the way. God grant us the strength the storms and trials of life, grant us all that we need to sustain in the this life. God we put all of our faith and hope in you, for with you God we know that we can overcome anything in life. God we love you and we thank. God thank you for being God of gods and Lord of lords. God thank you for being a sovereign, almighty God. Thank you for loving us despite of us. God thank you for simply being you.
