They Won't Understand

One of the questions that we are asked over and over again as kids is "What do you want to be when you grow up?" But the truth is, the older we get, the question shifts. It goes from what do you want to be to a statement of get your head out of the clouds. From you can be anything you want to be to statements of let's be realistic. People will begin to try to talk you out of your hopes, dreams, aspirations and the vision you have for your life.  They will question you, ‘how are you going to accomplish that?’ or ‘what makes you think that you’re capable of that?’.  They will make you question yourself and even try to plant their dream for you in your head.  They go from supporting you, to doubting you. They go from lifting you up, to tearing you down. They will even try to steer you from the path of the vision that you have for your life. BUT WHAT GOD HAS FOR YOU, IS FOR YOU!  But truth is, God prepared the path, the vision and your calling for you life long before you even realized it.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

~Jeremiah 1:5

Nobody knows what God is calling you to be. Some people will never understand because God didn't give them the vision, He gave it to you. Sometimes in the time of preparation, God will expose those that claim to be in your circle but who aren't truly for you. But don't let those keep you from becoming all that God has called you to be. God has created all of us for a purpose and given us all a vision. And whatever God has planned for your life it will come to pass.  God will prepare you to overcome every obstacle that is thrown your way. He will equip you with everything you need to accomplish His will for your life. He will provide for you when the resources seem low. And just when you feel like giving up, He will encourage you and remind you of why you started in the first place, why He planted that vision on the inside of you. Don’t get defeated when people try to down play your vision. As a matter of fact don’t share your vision with everybody, not everyone will understand or be happy with the vision that God has given you. Not everyone will support you along the way. But know that God will ensure that the vision HE has for you will become reality.  Don't be discouraged by what others may say. Don't be disappointed when some aren't happy for what God is doing in your life. Nobody can see, hear or conceive what God has planned for you and your life.  God loves you and will be there every step of the way. So keep pushing and know that nobody can keep you from your God-ordained destiny!
