Washed, Not Swept

Life. Life has a way of testing your faith and your beliefs. In this walk of life, you will go through many trials and tribulations. You will go through many hardships. You will go through many tragedies. And each time you through a difficult moment in life, it seems like the water is getting deeper and deeper around you. It will feel like things are getting so out of control that you're not going to make it through. Every day can feel like you're drowning, like you can't make it up for air. But the truth is you will not drown and you will make it. There is someone in the river of life with you, that's protecting you from everything that may seem like it's going to take you out. God is right there with you every step of the way. He has called your name, redeemed you and promises that whatever it is that you are going through, He's right there with you. You will come out unharmed and on top. God has a promise to each of us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. That He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you can ask or imagine. He has promised you an abundant life and a prosperous future. And that whatever it is you are going through He's going to use for your good. The waves of life may be raging but trust God and know that they will not take you out. The waves will not sweep you.

God is getting ready to pull you out of whatever hardship, trial, setback, heartbreak, tragedy or tribulation you are going through right now. And when He does, you will come out dry, no scratches, no marks, no burns. God is using the raging waves of life not to sweep you, but to cleanse you. God is washing away what you need to leave behind for Him to mold and shape you into what He has called you to be. So hold on, God has called your name. Trust Him and believe Him when He says that these raging waves, the hardships and trials of life are not going to seep you away. Hold on to His unchanging hand and know that you're being washed, not swept.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before your throne of grace to say thank you. Thank you for allowing us to see yet another day. God as we go throughout this thing called life, I ask that you continue to protect and cover each of us. God life isn't easy and we thank you for being with us every step of the way. God give us the strength to keep pushing and walking on this journey of life. God we thank you for protecting us from dangers seen and unseen. God thank you for not letting the hardships of life take us out. God we're trusting and believing that you will deliver us, that you will pull us out of the raging river of life better than we were before. God we love you and we thank you for all that you have done, all that you are doing, and we thank you in advance for all that you are going to do in all of our lives. God we love you.
